Deeply caring and passionately serving our Nations’ Military and their families.
Our mission states we will do three things: spread awareness along with educating the public of Post Traumatic Stress (PTS), serve as a living memorial and provide support and comfort to the loved ones left behind.
We hope to accomplish this mission in several ways; participating in rides and health expo events, recruiting other riders to join us in raising awareness, networking families together to help each other through the grieving process, help with registration fees for veterans battling PTS or the families of those who have lost the battle, share helpful resources to help those suffering or dealing with loss, and much more.
Our hope by raising awareness and educating the public is that we can help eliminate some of the stigma that surrounds military PTS and allow for veterans to seek and receive the help and social support they so desperately need so the number 22 can reduce.
Since its inception, OGH has significantly expanded its support for military personnel, veterans, and their families. Our year-round activities include providing transitional support for those leaving service, furnishing new homes for veterans and their families exiting homelessness, and ensuring families have the essentials to live healthy, safe, and productive lives in the community. We step in where government benefits end, offering the resources veterans and military families need to move forward.
Our Mission to Serve
Courageous Survival is an Idaho Nonprofit 501c3 organization established to connect Idaho’s Everyday Heroes with mental health resources and tangible tools for building resilience.
Our hope is that ALL First Responders, Military service members, Veterans and their families can learn to recognize the signs of trauma exposure and Post Traumatic Stress Injuries in themselves and others; and then have the courage to reach out for help.
You are worth it… your life, your family, and your story MATTERS!
